Microwaving Sweet corn

I love sweet corn and I normally steamed them for my snack not boiled which we used to do in the Philippines. One time my laziness strikes and I wanted to eat the sweet corn right away so I thought of the microwave. I peel some of the husk and leave a little bit just enough to cover the corn. In the microwave, I tried 1 minute first so the corn won't pop and then turn the other side for another minute and add another minute. For 3 minutes the corn was already cooked. Now I know how to cook it the easy and quicker way. Thanks to the microwave, it made my life easier. ^_^

Sweet Honey Mango

I think it's mango season now in Mexico coz I haven't seen these honey mangoes in months already and now they're back in the store. I bought 7 pcs. the other week and regret that I didn't buy more so last week I bought 10 pcs. ^_^

Snack attack...

This was my fave midnight snack last month. Now I'm trying to control myself not to crave for this or else I'll go kaboom (fat). hehe

Ice cream cake

This was the ice cream cake I bought for my baby shower. I just don't want to go to the party with empty handed coz for sure my pinay friends brought something to share to everybody. I was glad I chose the chocolate ice cream and cake coz it really taste so good than the first time that hubby and I ordered for my friend's birthday. Yummy yummy! :)

Sweet and sour chicken with fried rice...

I've been eating this sweet and sour chicken for 2 Sunday's already after church. This is good when you're in a hurry and don't have time to cook coz we just order this at the Chinese restaurant near our apartment. The owner of the restaurant is our neighbor just 2 blocks away from our building. What's nice about the restaurant is you can order thru phone and then go to the restaurant to pick up your order. No need to wait but if the owner is not busy she likes to chit chat with me and hubby especially now that I'm preggy. If I'm hungry and in a hurry I just wait in the car and let hubby get the order so we can have the food right away. haha This sweet and sour chicken is delicious but it's deep fried so I try not to eat it all the time. :)
